Select Services Group was engaged to deliver the network infrastructure and Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) camera system across the multi-level car park facilities at Crown Casino Melbourne. As one of Australia's most recognisable entertainment destinations, the project required a highly coordinated approach that maintained uninterrupted operations while delivering a sophisticated vehicle identification platform.
The Challenge
Operating within a live casino environment presented unique logistical and operational challenges. All installation works needed to be carefully staged to minimise disruption to guests, security operations and daily vehicle movements while maintaining strict compliance with Crown's contractor management requirements.
Our Solution
The project involved the design and installation of a robust communications network capable of supporting a large-scale LPR deployment throughout the precinct. Works included fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure, dedicated LPR camera installation, network integration and connection to Crown's vehicle access management systems.
Project Outcome
The completed solution provides reliable licence plate capture across key vehicle entry, exit and circulation zones, improving security, operational visibility and access management.
