Select Services Group has delivered multiple infrastructure projects at Chadstone Shopping Centre, Australia's premier retail destination and home to the largest car park in the Southern Hemisphere. Supporting one of the country's busiest retail environments, our team was engaged to deliver advanced vehicle access and parking guidance infrastructure designed to improve traffic flow, enhance the customer experience and support efficient car park operations.
The Challenge
With more than 10,000 parking spaces spread across multiple structures and levels, Chadstone requires sophisticated vehicle management systems capable of handling significant daily traffic volumes while maintaining a seamless visitor experience. The scale of the facility demanded careful planning, integration and commissioning to ensure all systems operated reliably within a live retail environment.
Our Solution
Select Services Group delivered the installation and commissioning of an integrated Parking Guidance System incorporating Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, communications infrastructure and intelligent wayfinding signage. The solution provides real-time visibility of parking availability throughout the precinct, guiding motorists to available spaces while supporting efficient vehicle movement across multiple car park zones.
Project Outcome
The completed system has enhanced operational efficiency and improved the customer experience by reducing search times for available parking and improving traffic circulation throughout the centre.
